Congratulations to the double winners of the first C-Note photo contest theme, What I Like to Do for Free: Rebecca Lin, 15, lives in Torrence CA. She entered her photo, "A Walk in the Park--And Rain," from C-Note on Kinecta Credit Union's site. Rebecca says, "This is a photo of me and my oldest sister in Boston Park. Having grown up in Los Angeles, we loved the tree-filled park located in the heart of busy Boston, Mass. We even walked in the pouring rain! Best of all, the public park is free!" Tanya Bovitz, 16, lives in Brooklyn Park, MN. She entered her photo, "Mattress Sliding," from C-Note on Heartland Credit Union's site. Tanya says, "Mattress sliding is super fun and it's free! There were a bunch of extra mattresses around at Camp Wapo in Wisconsin, so the guys decided to use them to slide down the hill. After I took this picture I hid behind a tree to avoid being slid over." You can see these two entries and their competitors by clicking on Photo Contest Archives on the bottom left of the photo contest page. Second C-Note Photo Contest: Why My School is Special The deadline for entering photos in the second C-Note photo contest, "Why My School is Special" is February 15, 2008. This is a great opportunity for youth--including the children of credit union employees-to win $100, and even $1,000. CUNA invites your young credit union members, your credit union employees and their family members ages 13-19 to submit their photos by logging in and clicking on Enter Contest on the top right of the photo contest page. |
